Ski In and Ski Out Larger Condo!

Located at the base of the world famous Squaw Valley Ski area, this property faces away from the main stroll in a quieter area of the Village. It is in the newest building, on the second floor, with views of Shirley Canyon. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo sleeps up to 7 people thanks to its rare larger 998 square feet floor plan. 

 

Drop your outdoor gear in the spacious entrance which features a bench, closet space, and plenty of hooks for all your jackets, hats, and helmets. 

 

The master bedroom has a spacious king size bed with new soft linen and a 2” gel mattress topper for a perfect balance of comfort, support, and an optimal sleep temperature. Unwind with the 32” flat-screen HDTV. For a gentle breeze on summer nights, turn on the quiet ceiling fan. The master bedroom features view of Shirely Canyon, large closet space and a chest of drawers. 

 

The second bedroom has a queen size bed with new soft linen, a 2” gel mattress topper, and extra closet space. The Juliet balcony and sliding door provide additional light and views of Shirley Canyon. You can also entertain the kids with a 32” flat-screen TV in the second bedroom. 

 

After a day of outdoor activities, relax in the living room in front of the stone hearth gas fireplace, large flat-screen 42” HDTV, and lay back in the 3-seat sofa, day bed, or arm chair. At night, the sofa converts to a full size bed with a brand new orthopedic memory foam mattress and the day bed into a single bed. 

 

The kitchen is fully equipped and partially stocked with essentials. The granite counter extends to a breakfast bar with 3 stools. There is a dining area where 8 can dine comfortably, with French doors to the private balcony and views of Shirley Canyon. 

 

You can stay connected with the FREE WIFI provided in this unit. There is also a secure/private ski locker on the main floor and underground parking for one car. There is little foot traffic by the front door since the condo is located towards the end of the corridor, next to the stairs. Taking the stairs, you are only a few steps away from the outdoor hot tubs, sauna, and fitness room which are off the same stairs one floor below. There is a large 14-person hot tub where kids can swim with a little more space and a more intimate round hot tub overlooking the valley. Towels are provided in the exercise, sauna, and hot tub area. For extended stays, a large laundry room with multiple washers and dryers is located on the main floor of the building. 

 

Activities

To entertain the kids, this building often has a free art/craft/game room downstairs off the hotel lobby, but only during the holidays. You also have access to all other Village buildings common areas where you can find a pool table, a kid room with a fusball table, more hot tubs, saunas and exercise rooms. Several dining options are only steps away from the condo, from the very casual to the gourmet. Shopping opportunities also abound as you stroll through the Village. There is even a great little market/drug store where you can buy food (even special diet items such as gluten-free) and anything you may need without having to drive to a supermarket.

 

Squaw Valley has activities for everyone in your family. 

In the winter, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and more. Children of all ages will enjoy the groomed sledding hill at the Resort At Squaw Creek. Catch a free shuttle to the Resort At Squaw Creek, and walk a free steps towards the chair lift and you will see the sledding area. There is also rock climbing in the cable car building, ice skating at High Camp, sky jump on the main plaza, snowmobiling and snow tubing.

 

In the summer, you can play a round of golf, play paint ball, take a hike, enjoy a horse ride, rent a bike or hang on a ropes course. At High Camp, you can play on the 18-hole disc golf, and soak up the Sierra sun at the pool, hot tub and bar. More activities await you after a short drive to Lake Tahoe where you can swim, boat, and float on pristine blue waters.

Yoga and spa services are also available at the Village.

 

We try to offer this condo for less than what the Village management charges because we do not use their management service. We do our best to pass as much savings as we can on to all of our guests. Daily housekeeping is NOT included in these discounted rental rates, but can be arranged directly through us should you desire for a minimal fee. Advance notice is needed. For all hospitality service during your stay, you will need to contact us directly.
